ICB13 invites the submission of abstracts for papers that have been published in a journal after March 1, 2024, or papers that are "in press" at the time of submission and are already available on the journal's website. Papers will be selected for presentation based on their impact on the field, the quality of the presentation, the likelihood that the work will make a good presentation, and their relevance to bioinformatics, computational biology, and biomedical research. Submissions must include an abstract with the following details: title, author(s), affiliation(s), contact e-mail, a link to the published journal version, and the identity of the presenter (in the case of a multi-authored paper), followed by the abstract of the published paper. In addition to the abstract, authors should provide a brief explanation of why their work is suitable for a highlight presentation at ICB13. A PDF of the full paper must also be uploaded as supplementary material. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Accepted presenters for the Highlight Track are required to present the research themselves and must register for the conference.
